Alon Shimony

Alon Shimony has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Alon is the Founder and CEO of Baba Entertainment, a position they have held since January 2016. Prior to this, Alon worked at Eshet Tours Group as the Director of Web Development from June 2013 to January 2016. In this role, they were responsible for implementing Agile methodology, team building, and management.

From July 2009 to July 2015, Alon worked as an iPhone/iPad xCode Objective C developer at their own company, Alon Shimony. Alon also worked at SQLink as a Senior Software Engineer for one of the major banks in Israel from January 2010 to June 2013. Here, they developed server and client-side applications in C# and integrated .NET frameworks. Additionally, Alon worked at GPark from January 2010 to January 2011, where they provided location-based parking services for B2B and B2C clients.

Before venturing into their own companies, Alon co-founded Algoma in 2005, where they served as the CTO and developed iOS apps as well as a unique digital signage platform using C++, VB.NET, and ASP. Alon'stenure at Algoma lasted until 2009.

Alon Shimony obtained their High School degree from עירוני יד in the years 1994 to 1997. Alon then pursued and completed a Practical Engineer degree in Computer Software Engineering from hamikhlalah Ha'academit Lehandassah Tel Aviv from 2004 to 2006. Continuing their education, Alon Shimony earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering during the period of 2006 to 2009.
