Malcolm’s specialty is taking a client’s concepts and objectives, and by understanding the business drivers, the what and the why, to bring the project to realization. Malcolm focuses on the pre-project phase of a proposal and brings 20 years of business entrepreneurship and management, and extensive experience from across a range of industries, to provide a balance between the project aims and business expectations.
Malcolm gained experience as an electrical cadet, moved into the construction industry, then gained his NZCE at the Central Institute of Technology in Wellington in 1988. After several years of technical experience, Malcolm established an architectural and engineering consultancy, working on projects in New Zealand and overseas.
He developed his project management and client-relations skills while running projects in the dairy, FMCG, pulp and paper, and bulk materials and handling industries.
