Christian Baier

Christian Baier has a diverse work experience spanning numerous companies and roles. Christian currently holds the position of MD & CFO at Babbel since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Group CFO / COO at Ströer SE & Co. KGaA (2019-2022) and as the Managing Director at zLabels GmbH (2012-2019). Christian also worked at McKinsey & Company, Inc. as an Engagement Manager (2004-2012) and started their career as an intern at various companies such as J.P. Morgan Europe Limited, Red Onion Venture Consult GmbH, KPMG Deutsche Treuhand-Gesellschaft AG, Dresdner Bank AG, and Groth Gruppe GmbH.

Christian Baier holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and Economics, which they received from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht from 2006 to 2008. Prior to this, they completed their MBA (Dipl.-Kfm.) in Business Administration and Economics at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht from 2000 to 2004. Christian also briefly studied Business Administration and Economics at DePaul University in 2003 and the University of Sydney in 2002.
