Growing up as a pseudo-interpreter for his Spanish-speaking parents, Salim learned to code-switch at a young age and became fascinated with the unique nuances of language. He taught himself French and later picked up Japanese while in undergrad. He holds a degree in Japanese Studies from Middlebury College and is pursuing a Masters in Localization at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey. Always moving around, he’s lived in Mexico, various corners of the U.S., Japan, and Brazil. Favorite hobbies include playing video games, traveling, and learning languages.
