Sarah McMillan

VP, HR & Corporate Services at Babcock Canada

Sarah McMillan is the current Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Services at Babcock Canada. Prior to this, they served as the Chief of Staff at Federal Fleet Services Inc from January 2016 to January 2021. Sarah has also served in the Royal Canadian Navy from January 2014 to January 2016 as the D Nav Personnel & Training 3. In this role, they were responsible for RCN Occupation Management and Personnel Selection (Ethics, RCN Code Of Conduct and RCN Assessment Centres). From June 2013 to November 2013, Sarah served as the HR Pillar Lead for the Ministerial Advisory Group for NATO Training Mission - Afghanistan.

Sarah began their career in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Personnel Selection Officer in February 1996 and served in this role until January 2001. Sarah then transitioned to academia and became an Assistant Professor at Royal Military College of Canada from January 2001 to December 2004. In September 2005, Sarah returned to the Canadian Armed Forces | Forces armées canadiennes as an Instructor for the Officer Professional Military Education Program (OPME) in Military Leadership Professionalism and Ethics and Introductory Psychology in both official languages. Sarah served in this role until June 2013 when they took on the role of HR Pillar Lead for the Ministerial Advisory Group for NATO Training Mission - Afghanistan.

Sarah McMillan has a MSc in Applied Psychology from Saint Mary's University and a BA (Hnrs) in Applied Military Psychology from the Royal Military College of Canada/Collège militaire royal du Canada.
