Tony March

Tony March is currently the Vice President of Engineering Services at Babcock Canada. Tony has held this position for 4 years and 2 months. Prior to their current role, Tony was the Director of Engineering at Babcock Canada Inc. For 21 years and 1 month, Tony served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Marine Systems Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for the readiness, operation and maintenance of propulsion and ancillary systems, power generation and distribution, auxiliary systems, ship’s service systems, ship and machinery control systems, hull structure, ship’s stability, damage control, and the integration of these systems. Tony also analyzed the state of their systems, equipment and personnel, predicted their requirement for Naval operations and advised Command accordingly. Tony was also the Section Head for a 20-person team responsible for naval architecture, survivability, signatures, and materials engineering. Additionally, they served as the Sub-section head for Submarine Maneuver and Control Systems at in the Materiel Group of the Department of National Defence. Tony has also completed the Joint Command and Staff Programme at the Canadian Forces College. This program runs from 23 August 2013 to 26 June 2014 and prepares selected senior officers of the Defence Team for command and staff appointments in the contemporary operating environment across the continuum of operations in national and international settings. Lastly, Tony served as a Submarine Technical Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy - Canadian Fleet Atlantic for 1 year.
