James Bye Ceng

James Bye CEng is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Marine Lead for Additive Manufacturing at Babcock International Group since August 2013. In this role, James has developed a solution for metallic additive manufacturing, significantly expanding the initiative since its inception in 2021. James has also held various other positions within Babcock, including Engineering Manager and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, where responsibilities spanned managing engineering teams, overseeing technical projects, and providing design solutions for defense systems. Prior experience includes serving as Engineering Services Manager at PipexPx, managing engineering projects across multiple sectors. James holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University and a BSc Hons in Mechanical Engineering & Computer Aided Design from the University of Plymouth.
