Jon Cohen has extensive experience in commercial leadership and strategy within the Defence sector, particularly in land and maritime operations, through a long tenure at Babcock International Group since December 2005. Cohen's roles have included Commercial and Strategy Director for the Land Sector, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing commercial matters, risk management, and governance, as well as leading a commercial team and negotiating contracts. Prior positions included Programmes and Commercial Director, where business development and major bidding processes were emphasized, and various commercial director roles focused on transforming business operations and negotiating significant acquisitions. Before Babcock, Cohen served as Head of Commercial Solutions at BT, managing large sales initiatives and cross-functional teams, contributing to major transformational deals and the procurement of satellite inventory. Cohen holds a BA Hons in Business Studies from Middlesex University.
