Lorraine McGarry

Lorraine McGarry has extensive experience in finance and operational roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Finance Business Partnering Manager and Head of Finance at Babcock International Group since December 2016, Lorraine has led financial operations for multiple sectors, including DRDL Central and Cavendish Nuclear. Prior to this, Lorraine worked as a Senior Commercial Analyst at M+W Group, where coordination between commercial and finance teams was a key responsibility. Lorraine's earlier roles include Head of Operational Development and Finance Manager at GLASSOLUTIONS Saint-Gobain, Operations Accountant at Balfour Beatty (InterRoute JV), and Finance Manager/Operations Accountant at Pearce Group. Lorraine began the career as a Graduate Trainee Accountant at ABB Offshore Systems and had initial experience as an Industrial Placement Student at Rittal_CSM. Education includes a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from The Open University, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies with Finance from the University of Plymouth.
