Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith is a Radioactive Waste Manager at Babcock International Group since March 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew served as an International Project Leader at Veolia ES Field Services Ltd from March 2020 to March 2023, focusing on the planning and development of complex overseas projects and field supervision. Matthew has also held positions as a Senior Site Chemist and Site Chemist at Castle Environmental from October 2018 to March 2020. Earlier experience includes working as a Barista at Costa Coffee from November 2017 to January 2019. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences, both from Swansea University.
