Matthew Young

Matthew Young is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in infrastructure, project management, and operations within both military and civilian sectors. Currently serving as Major Infrastructure Director at Babcock International Group since September 2025, Matthew previously held multiple strategic roles at HS2 Ltd from April 2016 to September 2025, including Operations Director and Client Director for significant projects. A former Commanding Officer in the British Army, Matthew has a strong background in leading large teams and managing substantial budgets, notably during tenures with NATO and the UK Ministry of Defence.
