Mike Curnow

Mike Curnow serves as the Managing Director at MDC Solutions since October 2023, having previously held significant roles at Babcock International Group since March 2009. As Chief Engineer, Mike Curnow is currently responsible for critical equipment management on the Royal Navy's Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers and Type 45 Destroyers. Prior to this, Mike Curnow worked as an Engineering Programme Manager in Adelaide and Auckland, and completed a three-year contract in New Zealand before returning to the UK. Mike Curnow’s career began in the Royal Navy, where Mike served as an Engineering Commander until July 2009, with his final sea assignment aboard HMS Illustrious. Mike Curnow holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering from RNEC Manadon, attained between 1978 and 1982.
