Steven Bell

Steven Bell is an accomplished professional in the rail industry, currently serving as Managing Director of Babcock Rail since August 2019, where prior roles include Rail Systems Director. In addition, Steven holds the position of President at the Permanent Way Institution from July 2023 to July 2024. With previous experience as Engineering Director at Amey and Project Director at Balfour Beatty Rail, Steven has overseen significant projects such as the NW Electrification Phase and the Edinburgh Tram Project. Steven's career also includes leadership roles at First Engineering Ltd, where responsibilities spanned profit and loss management, engineering, and contract execution.
