Scott Spurgeon

Scott Spurgeon has extensive experience in editorial and sports coordination roles. Since October 1993, Scott has served as the Editor for the Bloomfield Democrat, contributing to local journalism. In addition, Scott has held the position of State Commissioner for Babe Ruth League Inc. since October 2005, where the responsibilities include coordinating Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball programs across Iowa, overseeing multiple local leagues, and facilitating 8-10 state tournaments annually. Scott's educational background includes an Associate of Arts degree from Indian Hills Community College, completed between 1987 and 1989, followed by further studies at Iowa State University from 1989 to 1992.
