Jason Alonso

Jason Alonso has extensive experience in various technology roles. Jason is currently working as the VP Architect for Babel Street since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Architect at Basis Technology from February 2021 to December 2022. Jason also co-founded Dalang Health in July 2019, where they held the role of Co-founder until February 2021. Jason briefly worked as a Principal at Snowcap Ai from July 2019 to October 2019. Jason spent a significant part of their career at Luminoso Technologies, Inc., where they held multiple positions including Chief Architect from March 2018 to June 2019, CTO from August 2014 to June 2019, Co-Founder from December 2010 to June 2019, and CFO from December 2010 to March 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Volunteer CFO at Learning Unlimited from September 2009 to 2012. Jason's early experience includes working at MIT Media Lab in various research and technical roles from February 2001 to December 2011.

Jason Alonso attended Severn School from 1994 to 2000. Jason then went on to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and obtained a Bachelor of Science (S.B.) degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from 2000 to 2004. Continuing their education at MIT, Jason received a Master of Science (S.M.) degree in Media Arts and Sciences from 2006 to 2008. Jason pursued a Ph.D. in Media Arts and Sciences at MIT from 2008 to 2012, but did not complete the program.
