Petr Melnikov

Petr Melnikov has a diverse work experience in various roles within the IT industry.

Petr is currently employed at babelforce as a Site Reliability Engineer since December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Prestamos Prima Group as a Lead System Engineer from March 2020 to December 2020.

Before that, Petr worked at State Street as a DevOps Engineer from September 2016 to February 2020. Petr was responsible for implementing DevOps practices and maintaining the infrastructure.

From August 2015 to September 2016, Petr worked at ITSK ltd., where they served as a 3rd line support engineer. Petr'sresponsibilities included supporting VDI solutions based on Citrix, maintaining the VDI software and MS Windows base images, and troubleshooting performance issues.

Petr was responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining networks and on-premise servers.

Petr started their career at Sibmash as a System Administrator from September 2010 to March 2012, where they gained experience in managing IT infrastructure.

Petr's work experience also includes their time at Tobolsk State Pedagogical Institute D.I. Mendeleev, where they worked as a helpdesk support engineer/web-developer from February 2003 to August 2010. Petr'sresponsibilities included maintaining copiers, printers, and workstations.

Petr Melnikov obtained their Master's degree in Information Technology from Tobolsk State Pedagogical Academy between 2002 and 2007. In addition to their degree, they have acquired various certifications, including an Intensive Course in Penetration Testing from HackerU in September 2020, RPA Developer Foundation Training from UiPath in December 2018, and the Learn DevOps: The Complete Kubernetes Course from Udemy in November 2018. Petr also completed a Cisco Certified Network Associate: Exploration course in Network Fundamentals at Tyumen State University in January 2012, although they did not take the exam. Additionally, they completed a course on Configuring Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Domain Services, provided by the company "Microtest" and certified by Microsoft, in January 2011, again without taking the exam.
