Jenny Hirst is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in science and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Senior Lead for Science and Entrepreneurship at Babraham Research Campus, Jenny coordinates initiatives that promote scientific commercialization and enhance collaboration within the campus community. As a Fellow at Jesus College Cambridge since 2014, Jenny has engaged in various roles supporting student education and welfare. Previously, Jenny held the position of Head of Academic Program at Lightcast Discovery, focused on establishing outreach programs and strategic collaborations. Jenny has also contributed to the Milner Therapeutics Institute as a voluntary Milner Innovation Representative and has a strong academic background, including a principal research associate role at the University of Cambridge, where Jenny advanced research in cell biology and neurodegeneration. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College London, a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from UCL, and a Diploma in Science Communication from Birkbeck, University of London.
