Erin Degnan Escobedo

Erin Degnan Escobedo is an accomplished academic and legal professional with extensive experience in finance and law. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Finance Division at Babson College since August 2017, Erin teaches and develops courses in Real Estate, contributing significantly to the curriculum. Prior to Babson, Erin held positions as a full-time Lecturer in Business Law at the University of Miami and as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Florida International University College of Law, where legal skills and analysis were emphasized. Erin's legal career includes roles as Associate General Counsel at Avatar Holdings and Attorney positions at Shutts & Bowen and Cheffy Passidomo, focusing on complex commercial litigation and real estate matters. Erin holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brown University.
