Katherine Craven

Katherine Craven serves as the Chief Administrative and Financial Officer at Babson College since February 2014, bringing extensive experience in financial leadership and governance. Craven is currently the Chairperson of the Board for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, a position held since April 2019. Previous roles include Executive Director of the University of Massachusetts Building Authority, First Deputy State Treasurer for the Office of the Massachusetts State Treasurer and Receiver General, and Founding Executive Director of the Massachusetts School Building Authority. Craven also worked as a Senior Fiscal and Policy Adviser in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. An alumna of Harvard University, Katherine Craven holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and is a graduate of Boston Latin School.
