Kim Sawyer

Adjunct Lecturer, Management at Babson College

Kim Sawyer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic engagement, education, and economic development. Currently serving as a Special Advisor at Babson College since 2019, Kim develops international business opportunities, including a leadership program for Bulgarian leaders, and teaches in an International Consulting Experiential Program focusing on women-owned businesses. Kim also serves as a Board Trustee at the American University in Bulgaria and as a non-executive board member for the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, contributing to finance and compensation committees. As the founder of Luminary Strategies, Kim specializes in strategic planning and business development for various clients, including educational institutions and a venture capital firm. Previous roles include CEO and General Counsel for a corporate asset recovery firm acquired by PricewaterhouseCoopers and leadership positions in both legal and nonprofit sectors. Kim holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and has participated in executive programs at several prestigious institutions, including Harvard University and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
