Melissa Manwaring

Melissa Manwaring is an award-winning Associate Professor of Practice and Lecturer in the Management Division at Babson College, where expertise lies in negotiation and education. With a career spanning over two decades, Melissa teaches graduate-level negotiation courses across various MBA programs and offers courses in Executive Education. As a consultant for Mediation Works Incorporated and an independent negotiation trainer, Melissa complements academic roles with practical applications. Previous experience includes Directing Curriculum Development at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and serving as an Adjunct Professor at Harvard University's Division of Continuing Education. Melissa's legal background encompasses positions as Associate Attorney at Fenwick and West and Pillsbury Madison & Sutro. An alumna of Harvard Law School with both JD and M.Ed. degrees, Melissa also holds a B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
