Babson Diagnostics
Hattie McKenzie is a Scientist at Babson Diagnostics since September 2022 and serves as a Graduate Research Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin since August 2018, where Hattie is co-advised by Dr. Adrianne Rosales in Chemical Engineering. Prior to this, Hattie was a student-athlete at Texas Tech University, competing in Women's Soccer, Cross-Country, and Track and Field between August 2013 and May 2018, and received multiple Academic All Big-12 honors. Hattie's research experience includes being an NSF Funded Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder, where contributions involved developing a next-generation HPV vaccine, and an intern at Sandia National Laboratories, where Hattie contributed to the fabrication of metallic nanoparticles and co-authored three research papers. Hattie's academic background includes a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
