Kelsey Althouse

Kelsey Althouse has been with Baby TALK since 2015 and is currently the Director of Programming. She graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with her Bachelor of Social Work and began her career as a Home Visitor. Kelsey’s desire to positively impact local programming and assist in the expansion of the Baby TALK model led her to pursue a leadership role within Baby TALK. In alignment with the Baby TALK model, Kelsey whole heartedly believes that relationships are the foundation for all work with families and within an organization. Throughout her time in leadership, she and her team received Baby TALK’s Quality Confirmation designation, increased capacity for center-based care with the addition of Early Head Start classrooms, and represented Baby TALK while presenting at the 2021 National Home Visiting Summit. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys cooking, attending concerts, and traveling with her husband and two children.
