Chirag Shah has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries and roles. Chirag began their career at Smith & Williamson as an Auditor Associate from September 2008 to September 2010. Following this, they joined EY as an Audit Executive, where they managed a large client portfolio and gained expertise in various sectors such as automotive, leisure and hotel, professional services, and retail. Chirag then transitioned to Westmill, a subsidiary of Associated British Foods PLC, where they served as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst from October 2013 to August 2015, leading the budgeting and forecasting process. Chirag subsequently worked at Tesco PLC as a Senior Business Analyst - Group Planning from August 2015 to July 2016. Chirag then joined Burton's Biscuit Company as a Commercial Finance Manager from July 2016 to January 2017. Chirag furthered their career as the Head of Finance at Findmypast, a position they held from January 2017 to September 2019. Prior to their current role as the Head of Finance at MORI, which they started in April 2022, Chirag worked as a Finance Consultant for various companies from October 2019 to October 2022. Overall, Chirag Shah has built a strong background in finance and has demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis, and management.
Chirag Shah completed their BA Hons in Economics from the University of Nottingham, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Following that, they pursued further education at ICAEW from 2008 to 2011 and obtained the qualification of a Qualified Chartered Accountant.
