Dr Sumitra Meena

Dr Sumitra Meena has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Dr Sumitra is currently the Founder and CEO of Babynama, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a self-employed individual, where they researched problems in the healthcare startup ecosystem and created videos on child health. Dr Sumitra also collaborated with developer interns to build five medical apps used by doctors. Additionally, they conducted experiments related to newborn health and developmental issues.

Before their self-employment, Dr Sumitra Meena served as a Senior Resident in Pediatrics at Safdarjung Hospital from July 2018 to August 2021. Prior to that, they were an Academic Junior Resident at Lady Hardinge Medical College from June 2015 to June 2018. Dr Sumitra gained experience as a Medical Officer at CGHS Wellness Center from December 2014 to May 2015 and as a Junior Resident at Apex Hospitals from January 2014 to November 2014.

Dr Sumitra Meena completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College between 2008 and 2013. Dr Sumitra then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Pediatrics from the same institution between 2015 and 2018.
