Damian Austin

Damian Austin has over two decades of experience in the banking sector, with a focus on trade finance. Damian has held various senior management positions at top financial institutions such as BACB plc, Bank ABC, Barclays Corporate Banking, HSBC, and WestLB. Damian has expertise in global transaction banking, trade debt and distribution, syndications, and specialized trade finance. Damian is currently serving as the Managing Director and Chief Banking Officer at BACB plc, overseeing Trade Finance strategy and P&L. Damian's previous roles include European Head of Global Transaction Banking, Interim Co Head of Wholesale Banking Europe, and Global Head of Trade Finance Syndications. Additionally, Damian has served as Deputy Chairman at the International Trade & Forfaiting Association.
