Yonas Tesfay

Yonas Tesfay is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in renewable energy and telecommunications. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Remote Monitoring at Bachmann electronic GmbH, Yonas focuses on advancements in Structural Health Monitoring and Condition Monitoring Systems. Prior experience at airwerk GmbH includes project engineering for utility-scale solar PV plant development, IoT automation, and wind turbine structural health monitoring. Yonas has contributed to various projects involving SCADA integration and network planning. Additional roles include research during a master's thesis at Overspeed GmbH, an internship at DNV GL, and leadership in telecommunications at Eritrean Telecommunication Corporation. Yonas holds a Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy from Carl von Ossietzky University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Asmara.
