Joana Costa

Joana Costa has a diverse work experience in the field of development. Joana started their career in 2010 as a student engineer, where they worked on a project for Corellis, developing a hotel booking app for Windows Phone 7.

After their internship, they joined Mozoo in 2011 as an Engineer for Studies and Development. Here, they were responsible for Android app development and project management. Joana also worked on the backend side using PHP and SQL.

In 2013, Joana joined ISI.NC as an Engineer Analyst Developer, where they worked on various missions for different companies. Joana utilized Java, C#, MySQL, Oracle, and Talend in their work.

In 2015, they worked as a Frontend Developer for WISTIKI, a consultancy for Davidson. Joana contributed to the development of Bluetooth trackers for personal items.

Joana then joined Kapten in 2016 as a Fullstack Javascript Developer. Joana worked in the payment tribe for 1.5 years and later transitioned to the B2B tribe for 2 years.

Most recently, Joana started working at Back Market in 2020 as a Backend Developer, where they are currently employed.

Joana Costa attended Lycée Michel Montaigne CPGE in Bordeaux from 2006 to 2008, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering Sciences. Following that, they pursued their higher education at École des Mines de Saint-Étienne from 2008 to 2011. Joana obtained a degree called "Diplôme d'Ingénieur de l'ENSM-SE ISMIN," specializing in Mobility and Security with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
