Effie Reich is a seasoned professional in the casting and business development sectors, currently serving as a Business Development Executive and Casting Editor at Backstage since September 2019. Prior to this role, Effie worked at Grant Wilfley Casting from October 2014 to September 2019 as a Casting Associate, where responsibilities included training and managing assistants and organizing departmental paperwork. Effie's earlier experience includes positions as a Junior Casting Associate and Casting Assistant, along with tutoring at the NYC Writing Center, focusing on grammar and syntax for diverse student groups. Effie's freelance experience includes working as a Freelance Casting Assistant at JS Casting Inc., where an average of 30 phone screens were conducted weekly. Effie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Culture from Pace University-New York.
