Arthur F. Backal has had a successful career in the hospitality industry. Arthur F. is the CEO and Founder of Backal Hospitality Group, a position they have held since 2007. In 2020, they co-founded Thank Our Heroes, a program that supports local NYC businesses and provides meals to frontline workers at Lenox Hill Hospital. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Founder of State of The Art Enterprises starting in 2002. Earlier in their career, they served as the Director of Catering at The Pierre New York, A Taj Hotel from 1998 to 2002, and as the Director of Food & Beverage at The St. Regis New York from 1990 to 1998.
Arthur F. Backal holds a Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University. Arthur F. studied at the School of Hospitality Business, which is a part of the College of Business.
