Steve Goldberg obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara from 1983 to 1988. Prior to that, they earned an M.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, where they studied from 1976 to 1980. Before their master's, Steve obtained a B.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, studying there from 1971 to 1975.
