Amarendar Kaparti

Amarendar Kaparti is a seasoned Tax Leader with extensive experience in transforming tax functions across Global Capability Centers (GCCs). Currently serving as the Group Transfer Pricing Lead and Regional Tax Head for APAC, ANZ, and the Middle East at Backbase, Amarendar previously founded Tax Maestro and led various tax advisory and compliance efforts. Amarendar has also contributed to Mergers and Acquisitions at PwC and provided business tax advisory at EY. With a background in e-commerce from Nizam College and advanced studies in Generative AI and Machine Learning from IIT Roorkee, Amarendar combines academia with practical expertise as a professor and author.
