Bhupendra Singh

Bhupendra Singh has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Bhupendra started their career at HSBC GLT in 2006, where they held various roles as a Senior Software Engineer. During this time, Bhupendra designed and implemented APIs for user activation on mobile applications and coordinated with the mobile application team for integration and production support.

In 2014, Bhupendra joined Citi as a Manager and was involved in low-level design and writing test cases for the Citi-Risk Commercial Banking application.

Bhupendra then moved to TCS TRDDC as an Assistant Consultant in 2014, where they worked on privacy preserving tools and developed prototypes for privacy aware audio and speech applications.

In 2015, Bhupendra joined ACI Worldwide as a Senior Software Engineer, where they implemented mechanisms to create templates and migrate metadata. Bhupendra also reviewed application security for the mobile channel manager gateway.

Finally, in 2017, Bhupendra joined Backbase as a Senior Backend Engineer and was later promoted to Principal Backend Engineer in 2021.

Bhupendra Singh completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya during the period of 2002-2006. Prior to this, they pursued their secondary education from South Indian Cultural Association Indore, affiliated to CBSE, from 1997-2001, where they focused on Maths, Science, and English. In addition to their formal education, Bhupendra has obtained several certifications, including "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in 2018, "Java Database Access with Hibernate" and "Learning Cloud Computing: Core Concepts" from LinkedIn in 2017. Bhupendra also holds an "IBM Certified Associate Developer – WebSphere Studio, V5.1" certification from IBM, though the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
