Deke Barnett

Deke Barnett is a seasoned recruitment professional with extensive experience in the technology recruitment sector. Currently serving as Lead Technical Recruiter and previously as Tech Recruiter at Backbase since August 2018, Deke contributes to the company’s mission of supporting financial institutions in their digital transformation. Prior to this role, Deke worked as a Tech Recruiter at Sanderson Recruitment PLC from September 2016 to August 2018 and held a consulting position at Simplify from April 2015 to June 2016. Deke’s earlier experience includes consulting at Virgin Atlantic from February 2012 to December 2014. Deke holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies from Swansea University, earned in 2011.
