Joshua Hill has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Joshua started off as a Student Intern at Postec, Inc., where they gained experience in web development using Microsoft's ASP.NET framework. Joshua then became a Technology Assistant/Web Developer at the same company, where they assisted in the design and development of web quoting applications and managed back-end database systems.

After that, they worked at AT&T as a Senior Specialist - Applications Developer, where they designed and developed the core architecture for a batch processing software and performed Java development activities for their Service Oriented Architecture Cloud (SOA Cloud) framework.

Next, Joshua worked at Mercedes-Benz USA as a Java Technical Solutions Developer. In this role, they served as the technical lead for the Lead Management System application and collaborated with business units and external vendors to maintain day-to-day operations. Joshua also provided design direction for system enhancements and defect fixes.

Currently, Joshua is working at Backbase as a Lead Principal Backend Engineer. Joshua leads technical teams in customer implementations, ensures cost-effective and technically excellent feature development, and defines standards and best practices. Joshua also supports Agile development and produces documentation for the team. Prior to this role, they were a Senior Backend Consultant at Backbase, where they supported customer implementations and provided guidance and coaching to junior team members.
