René Nijkamp

René Nijkamp is a seasoned Product Architect at Backbase since September 2022, with extensive experience as a consultant and owner at It's René since July 2015. Nijkamp has held significant roles in various companies, including Solution Architect at International Card Services, where architecture was created for low-code platforms, and ABN AMRO Bank, focusing on mobile banking solutions using AWS cloud. Prior experience includes positions at Shell, where Nijkamp served as a member of the Enterprise IT Response Team and in mobile application specialization. Nijkamp possesses expertise in security, performance, and integration with backend systems, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Technical Informatics from NHL Hogeschool.
