Rich Kiel

Rich Kiel is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in enterprise sales and financial services. Currently serving as Managing Director of Enterprise Sales NA at Backbase since April 2023, Kiel has a robust background that includes roles such as SVP and Global Head of FX Solutions at Kx from November 2017 to April 2023, and Managing Director, Global Head of Investment Risk Solutions at UBS from September 2011 to November 2017. Kiel's career began in market data analysis at Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan, progressing through key leadership positions at Salomon Brothers Inc and TIBCO, and spanning significant tenures at Thomson Reuters in multiple executive roles. Rich Kiel holds an MBA from Villanova University, completed the Leading Edge Executive Programme at the University of Michigan, and obtained a B.Sc. in Finance from St. John's University.
