Arati Sharma

Arati Sharma is the Founding Partner at Backbone Angels, a collective of active angel investors focusing on investing in underrepresented founders. In addition, Arati is the Co-Founder at Ghlee, a ghee-based skincare brand. Previously, Arati held various roles at Shopify, including Director of Product Marketing, Director of Marketing (Offline & Experiential), and Community Development Manager. Prior to Shopify, Arati worked at Jet Cooper in Communications & Strategy and Operations Management. Arati also has experience in leadership roles at various student associations. Arati's educational background is from McMaster University.
