James Frewin is a seasoned entrepreneur and designer with extensive experience in digital product development and venture scouting. As the Founder/Designer at OCTOBER® since June 2021, James has focused on creating top-tier digital solutions for startups and venture capitalists. Additionally, James serves as a Venture Scout at Backed VC and previously at Landscape, contributing to sourcing exceptional founders and diversifying the venture landscape. Freelance work includes design and marketing for notable clients like Unilever and LinkedIn. James also held various key roles, including Community Ambassador at Google and Head of Creative at Labstep, where a significant rebranding was undertaken. Academically, James holds a degree in Multimedia Web Design from the University of Gloucestershire and has experience as an Assistant University Lecturer.
