Alex McGuire has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. Starting with a Customer Service role at Wegmans Food Markets, they then moved to M&T Bank where they worked as a Merchant Services from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Real Estate Agent for the National Association of REALTORS®. During this time, they assisted clients with the purchase and sale of residential homes, and sourced new clientele using a variety of marketing techniques and cold calling. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Data Quality Analyst for Citi, managing Intraday limit monitoring for cash payments and trades, processing month end pre-settlement exposure for Risk, and processing credit lines and loans. In 2018, they moved to Instore as a Customer Success Manager, conducting new merchant onboarding, training and account setup, managing external hardware vendors and shipping partners, and managing all incoming merchant support requests and inquiries. Currently, they work at BackerKit as a Marketing Account Manager, Associate Marketing Manager, and Customer Success Manager.
Alex McGuire is currently studying Communication and Media Studies at the University at Buffalo. Alex has also obtained various certifications, including an Introduction to Social Media Marketing from Facebook in November 2020, a Real Estate License from the Oakland/Berkeley Association of REALTORS\u00ae in July 2019, and a Real Estate License from the National Association of REALTORS\u00ae in August 2013.
