Kaz Nakanishi

Kaz Nakanishi is an experienced designer currently working at BackerKit since October 2013, where the focus is on empowering crowdfunding creators through premier backer management software. Nakanishi previously served as an adjunct professor in Interactive Design at California College of the Arts from September 2009 to December 2016 and worked as a self-employed designer and developer from September 2006 to September 2016. Additional roles include contracting for Adaptive Path in visual and interaction design from October 2012 to March 2013, lecturing in design at UC Davis from June 2009 to June 2012, and working as a designer at NOON from September 2009 to November 2010. Nakanishi holds an M.F.A. in Design with a focus on Interaction Design from California College of the Arts and a B.S. in Design, Visual Communication from the University of California, Davis.
