Jimmy Callin is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in various development roles. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer and Acting Team-Lead at Backlight since May 2021, Jimmy contributes to the Academy Award-winning ftrack's collaboration tools for the film industry. Prior to this, Jimmy held the position of Lead Developer at Bonnier News, focusing on editorial tools and backend systems for a major Swedish news site from October 2017 to May 2021. Earlier experience includes two contracts with Apple as a Siri Language Engineering Contractor, enhancing the Swedish localization of Siri, and a foundational role at Gavagai as Support Manager & Editor, developing customer support processes.
