Lauren Chadwick

Lauren Chadwick's work experience begins with their current role as the Senior Vice President of Growth Marketing at Backlight. Lauren is responsible for leading global demand generation strategy and execution for Backlight's Streaming division, focusing on OTT streaming, video management, clip creation, hyper-distribution, and monetization.

Before joining Backlight, Lauren worked as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Zype, where they managed and distributed enterprise-grade video across various platforms. Zype was acquired by Backlight in 2021.

Prior to their time at Zype, Lauren held multiple roles at Blackhawk Network. Lauren served as the Director of Global Marketing Operations from 2020 to 2022, leading the demand generation, digital marketing, marketing operations, marketing analytics, sales development representatives, and events teams. Lauren also worked as the Director of Marketing - Demand Generation from 2018 to 2020, overseeing new enterprise-wide B2B demand generation efforts.

Lauren's career began in 2000 at George P Johnson Experience Marketing, where they worked as a Senior Copywriter, developing strategic concepts and content for various events and conferences. Lauren later worked at Pierce as a Creative Strategy Director from 2006 to 2012.

Lauren has a strong background in marketing and communications, with experience in demand generation, marketing operations, product marketing, and public relations.

Lauren Chadwick holds a Masters degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Emerson College. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Mary Washington.
