Marcel White

Marcel White has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marcel is currently the Quality Assurance Team Lead at Backlight since 2023. Prior to that, Marcel worked at Celtx as the Quality Assurance Lead from 2016 to 2022 and as a Customer Success Agent from 2016 to 2022. Marcel also worked at the Newfoundland & Labrador Public Libraries as a Computer Programmer Analyst in 2015, where they provided website analysis and updates in a PHP + JavaScript environment. Marcel has previous experience at BlackBerry, where they held various roles such as Senior Operations Specialist, BB Operations Tools Specialist, and BlackBerry Ops Tools Analyst from 2007 to 2014. Marcel also worked at Intelligent Mechatronic Systems - IMS as a Network Administrator from 2006 to 2007 and at PrinterOn as a Network Administrator from 2000 to 2006.

Marcel White holds a Diploma in Microcomputer Support Technician from the College of the North Atlantic (1998-2000) and a Diploma in Computer Science from Westviking College (1992-1995). Marcel has also obtained a certification in Agile Testing from LinkedIn in 2022.
