Allyson Talyor, PhD, is the Co-Founder and Lead Data Scientist at Backstroke, where they leverage a strong background in analytical chemistry and data science. They previously held a role as a Product Support Scientist at Roche, focusing on diagnostics and regulatory work, followed by a tenure as an Assistant Professor at the University of Indianapolis, where they taught various chemistry courses. Allyson has completed a Data Analytics and Visualization Certificate at Butler University and holds both a Bachelor’s and a PhD in Chemistry from Bradley University and Purdue University, respectively. Currently, they are eager to re-enter the workforce after time as a stay-at-home parent, enjoying science experiments with their children and engaging in outdoor activities in their free time.
