Richard Barker

Richard Barker is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial reporting and control across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Finance and Accounting at Backyard Discovery/Leisure Time since January 2017, Richard manages financial reporting for five legal entities and oversees lender reporting and covenant compliance. Prior to this role, Richard held various positions at Corbion, including Finance Director and Financial Controller, where responsibilities encompassed financial management for entities in North America and Mexico. Additional experience includes managing financial planning and analysis at John Crane, financial control at TI Group - Dowty Precision Handling, and internal auditing at TI Group plc. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Economics from the University of Exeter.
