John Kallassy

John Kallassy has over 25 years of experience in the financial and healthcare industries. John is currently the CEO of Bactana, a company that specializes in developing gastrointestinal pharmaceuticals. Prior to their current position, John served as the Chief Operating & Financial Officer of Jaguar Health, where they were responsible for the NASDAQ IPO in May 2015. Before Jaguar Health, John co-founded I-Bankers Direct, an online platform that allows accredited investors to review investment opportunities in growth companies. John also served on the Advisory Board for The Scientista Foundation and as an Acquisition Advisor for 3M Health Care. John's previous positions include VP of Analytical Services & Division President at Equifax Marketing Services and Chief Financial Officer & EVP Marketing at Speedus Corp. John holds a degree in Finance from the University of Southern California.

John Kallassy has a MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, a BS in Biology and Chemistry minor from SUNY Brockport, and a field in Pharmacology & Biochemistry from University of Leeds.
