Emilie Milton Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Emilie started their career as a Rusvejleder at Polyteknisk Forening in 2014. Emilie then worked as a Pædagogmedhjælper at Børnehaven Ellesletten from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, Emilie served as a Teaching Assistant in Statistics at the Technical University of Denmark.

From 2016 to 2018, Emilie worked as a Student Worker at Chr. Hansen, gaining valuable experience in the field. Emilie also concurrently served as an Instructor at Vedbæk Gymnastik Forening from 2006 to 2018, demonstrating their ability to manage responsibilities and provide guidance to others.

Emilie's educational background includes being a Bachelor Student at Chr. Hansen and DTU in 2016, writing their thesis on the influence of probiotic bacteria on human gene expression. Following that, they enrolled at DTU - Technical University of Denmark and obtained their Bachelor's degree in Human Life Science from 2013 to 2016. Finally, from 2016 to 2020, Emilie attended DTU - Danmarks Tekniske Universitet and earned a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics.
