Bruno Calvo

Co-founder and CEO of BADAKAN at Badakan

Bruno Calvo has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 1999, they co-founded Webcontents and Planète Interactive, digital content marketing agencies in Paris. These agencies were later sold to Dentsu Aegis Network in 2010. Moving forward, in 2010, Bruno co-founded Sushi Shop USA, a successful concept that led to the opening of three restaurants in Manhattan within five years. The company was eventually sold to Sushiro, the largest chain of conveyor-belt sushi restaurants in Japan in 2015. Lastly, in 2016, they co-founded BADAKAN, an HR software connecting people to jobs in the hospitality industry in France. BADAKAN aims to provide employers with competent and motivated professionals at short notice while allowing individuals to fulfill short-term vacancies across various hospitality businesses.

Bruno Calvo attended Université Paris Dauphine - PSL from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Trade. In 1999, they enrolled at the Ecole de formation au Barreau de Paris and completed a Master's degree in Law in 2000.
