Ana María Cardona Gómez has a diverse work experience. Ana María started their career as a Marketing communication manager at the Colombian National Congress in August 2013, where they worked until December of the same year.
In June 2014, they became a columnist for Exclama Magazine in Colombia, and they held this role until July 2015. During this time, they also worked as a PR and Social Media Manager for the feature film "Share With Me Your Brightest Color."

Ana María Cardona Gómez began their education in 2010 at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Editorial. Ana María completed this program in 2013. In 2013, they also started their studies at the University of Navarra, where they focused on Liberal Arts with a Management Pathway. Ana María continued their studies at the University of Navarra until 2016, during which they obtained a Diploma in Curatorial Studies: Humanidades (bilingüe). In 2014, Ana María attended Università degli Studi di Milano, where they pursued further studies in Liberal Arts, completing the program in 2015. Their most recent educational endeavor was at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where they pursued a Master's degree in Development and Gender from 2018 to 2019.
